Responsible Beverage Server Training in Freeport

Casco Bay CAN hosted a Responsible Beverage Server training in Freeport at the The Harraseeket Inn on Tuesday. Thank you to our trainers, Mike Mack, Regional Correctional Manager and Mike McManus, Freeport Maine Police Department Officer/School Resource Officer and Geary Brewing Company and The Harraseeket Inn employees for attending!

Responsible Beverage Server Training

Responsible Beverage Server Training

Join Mike McManus from the Freeport Police Department and Mike Mack from the Maine Department of Corrections for a State Certified Responsible Beverage Server training at Tailgate Bar & Grill. The training will be from 12-4pm on Thursday, November 8th. Contact us to register!

Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) Training

Casco Bay CAN hosted a Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training on Monday for servers at the Portland Country Club in Falmouth. Mike Mack, Regional Juvenile Correctional Manager, trained staff on the following:

  • Identify minors and visibly intoxicated persons
  • False ID detection and carding
  • Intervene to prevent a visibly intoxicated patron from driving
  • Prevent costly violations
  • Instill confidence in retailers and servers; and possibly reduce Liquor Liability Insurance
