Casco Bay CAN provides businesses:

• Resources on implementing drug-free policy in the workplace
• Trainings for Responsible Beverage Servers or Sellers (RBS)
• FREE Promotional materials for your business – coasters, Community Partner window decals, and recognition for your efforts in preventing and reducing underage drinking
• Collaboration with retail businesses on Project Sticker Shock to educate and prevent adults from buying alcohol for underage individuals

What businesses can do:

• Contact CAN to request a Responsible Beverage Servers or Sellers training today
  
• Offer information to employees on the harmful effects of alcohol on youth
• Host employee celebrations in a family-friendly event without alcohol
• Provide referral services for families in need of assistance
• Support programs and organizations keeping youth engaged and promoting healthy choices
• Post information about the legal age of purchase and post signs about your ID checking policies at the entrance and near registers where age-restricted products are sold
• Be mindful of displaying youth-oriented advertising for alcohol
• Employ security practices to reduce underage theft of age-restricted products
