- Join a Committee
- Steering Committee – Representatives from all 12 sectors (schools, businesses, parents, youth, faith organizations, law enforcement, etc.) meet once a month and oversee the implementation of the project.
- Law Enforcement Subcommittee – Representatives from the justice system meet once a month and oversee the implementation of project goals and objectives.
- Outreach Subcommittee - Representatives from all six communities that we serve meet once a month to promote the same goals, projects and messaging so we are working collaboratively, with one voice to prevent and reduce youth substance use in our six communities. Representatives from each of our communities come together to work as our "boots on the ground" folks to help implement the project in ways such as:
- promoting CAN through one-on-one visits with community members / leaders and helping to connect staff with community leaders
- posting flyers and distributing CAN brochures throughout the community
- assisting to coordinate specific activities (ie. tabling at fairs, promoting Table Talk events, community forums etc.)
